Reducing the Fuel Consumption of Your Fleet

Our training program for economical driving, DriverCoach, reads out the latest data delivered by the CAN bus and compares them with the optimum values for the vehicle. A display indicates to the driver whether he is driving within the optimum range (torque, gear, speed). The coaching system displays the best choice of gear as well as the best time to shift gear.

The driving behaviour is analysed, evaluated and the learning progress is documented. This allows the driver to gradually develop a feeling for his vehicle. Using an immediate performance control animates to improve one’s own driving abilities.

A reasonable supplement for DriverCoach is our telematics portal TIPSweb. A quick analysis of online reports which shows the percentage of driving time inside the rated range supports the learning outcome.

Direct results of the training are a reduction of the fuel consumption and the preventing of damage from the engine.
