Data Transport Service for Dynamic Heterogeneous Networks
Robust and reliable data transmission

Developed by us, this new service offers robust and reliable data transmission in very dynamic networks in which nodes and paths may be added or removed at any time for differing periods of time. Data can be transported via different kinds of network types (LAN, wireless). The P_MUL standard (A Protocol For Reliable Mul-ticast Messaging In Bandwidth Constrained And Delayed Acknowledgement (EMis-sion CONtrol (Emcon)) Environments) was selected as the data transport protocol so as to avoid any limitations on communications caused by using a proprietary solution.
The project was executed on the basis of MS Windows and C#/.NET. Test coverage of 95% was sought to ensure high quality. Test execution and evaluation was fully automated on all levels (module to system testing).
