DDMS is a web-based document management system for the administration of technical information for aircraft projects. One of its advantages is its easy integration into the Airbus working environment. Essential changes in the existing work routines are thus avoided. The system also facilitates and accelerates the administration of project folders as well as research in these folders, which can contain several thousand pages per aeroplane type.
