A WMS integration into the familiar visor raster map concept which conforms to the OGC standards permits the user a smooth transition from his own into the web-based map universe. New visor tools allow the use of raster maps of the OpenStreetMap project. By means of a program, you are able to create a map section taken from the OpenStreetMap fund in different scales and generate visor maps in the *.akf format (i.e. the "official map format").

The option to save visor geometries in PostGIS is another aspect offered by the visor tools. Thus, you can share these data with other GIS that are com-pliant with OGC standards.

Moreover, you can of course still dispose of the well-known comfort features offered by visor.
