megatel designed ShareLoc^® to support the task of mobile data collection by service personnel. ShareLoc^® is optimized for deployment in various industries.

ShareLoc^® comprises a web frontend and an iPhone or Android smartphone app. The application eliminates the need for paper-based forms and avoids the type of misunderstandings which can occur when data is communicated over the telephone. The mobile workforce employee receives an overview of his or her job schedule, can view it on a map and receives navigation to the intended destination.

Forms and jobs are freely definable and made available to the mobile user. The data entered in the forms is transferred and validated immediately in short intervals while the job is being performed, with any erroneous or incomplete job data displayed for attention. In this way, it is possible to reduce mistakes by up to 80%.

Job-performance progress can be evaluated at all times via the web frontend or by downloading the relevant data. Alternatively, ShareLoc^® can be directly integrated in an existing process and IT infrastructure by means of Webservice.
