megatel an exhibitor at the “Logistics + SCM” conference
Organized by DOAG (the German ORACLE User Group) and Logistik-Initiative Hamburg, the Logistics + SCM conference was held in the former central customs office in Hamburg’s historic warehouse district on June 28, 2011.

The conference focused on innovative solutions for logistics, intralogistics, sustainability and green logistics as well as governance and compliance in logistics. Renowned speakers and companies held presentations, exhibitions and workshops on these subjects, generating great interest on the part of the roughly 80 participants.
Oracle Gold Partner megatel showcased ShareLoc®, its innovative solution for coordinating mobile work processes. In addition to a presentation held during the exhibition, megatel also organized a workshop on this product.
On the basis of a case study derived from day-to-day logistics, it explained all the process steps from entering data through to planning and execution and culminating in evaluation. In this way, the workshop participants gained a detailed insight into working with ShareLoc® and the scope for integrating it in existing IT and process landscapes.

Logistics + SCM proved to be a valuable forum for users and vendors, allowing them to share information on best practices. The conference was also a success for megatel thanks to stimulating talks and the establishment of new contacts.
