When it comes to modernising and installing tandem mills, strip treatment installations, inspection lines and skin pass mills, we have proven to be a reliable partner of Converteam GmbH, for which we have realised the visualisation of database-supported dialogues in process control computers (so-called Level 2 dialogues) for numerous end customers.
Our clients are involved in the requirements specification and the drawing up of a detailed mask layout. Oracle Forms and Java are used in order to develop dialogues for the entry and exit section and the control panel main desks. The dialogues allow to check and edit the order of entry and exit section, the setup and pass schedule calculation and the roller data. All communication with the production engineering system (Level 3) as well as with the Level 1 system, which is needed for operating and monitoring the installation, functions with database-supported datagrams.
The compilation of manuals, training on the system for your employees, documentation and, to some extent, the administration of the database are all included in the project volume.
Whenever a system is brought into service or optimised, one of our employees will be on site in order to guarantee smooth processes.
