Save Time and Money at Customs

Wherever objects have to be automatically recognized and tracked in a fast and non-contact way, RFID (Radio-Frequency Identification) technology is more and more used. Our RFID system solution facilitates and accelerates processes at customs clearance.

Our system based on active RFID guarantees fast and simplified customs clearance at air- and seaports. We equip the delivery vehicles of your haulage company with a mobile device which automatically informs ATLAS (German customs software consisting of AES (Automated Export System) and ECS (Export Control System), systems developed for the EU electronic customs project initiated by the European Commission) of the presentation of goods to customs.

As soon as one of your drivers passes one of the base stations in the customs district, the mobile device signals that your goods are ready for clearance. The base station, which functions as a so-called GSM gateway (Global System for Mobile Communications), transmits this information to a communications server.

LEDs on the mobile device always keep your driver informed about his clearance status in the customs area. He is thus notified when he has reached the customs post, when the registration of the goods has occurred and whether the goods have been cleared or if customs need to examine them first.
