Tracking and Tracing of Mobile Objects

Keeping an Eye on Your Fleet

We make a fast location and tracking of your fleet possible. Our telematics portals offer you:

  • presentation of the current position of your mobile units on Europe- or world wide map material
  • present and past lane routes
  • lane display within any period of time
  • query of the current position
  • info about vehicle location and status

The map and the item list show you at a glance where the mobile units of your fleet are situated. Depending on the type of unit and the transmitted data, we offer you individual display solutions. For example, different icons on the map signalise if the engine of a vehicle is turned on or off, whereas arrows can be used in order to show the direction of travel of a unit.

Where from and Where to?

The default setting shows the distance covered in the last few days. The transmitted positions are connected with lines, and the direction of travel is depicted by arrows. However, you can have any other period of time be displayed, as well. It is also up to you how often the current positions are transmitted. Moreover, polling the exact location is possible at any time.

Maps Suiting Your Needs

The representation of the maps in our telematics applications is either enabled by our own geo-server internet visor or via using Google Maps API Premier. Our partnership with NAVTEQ enable us to provide Europe-wide map material with high quality data covering large areas for our internet visor. Google Maps API Premier allows the integration of worldwide map material as well as satellite maps.

We adapt the choice of technology and map material to the individual requirements of your project.

Easily operated controls permit quick navigation inside the map material

  • general map for orientation and positioning
  • speedy change between scales
  • automatic adjustment or manual change of map scale
  • shifting of the map sections
  • functions for zoom and centring
  • toning down of the map image in order to highlight icons

You can receive more information about the respective units via a quick guide which includes the following details:

  • longitude, latitude, altitude
  • address
  • distance to the next station or place
  • speed
  • GPS status, accuracy and time
  • direction
